Jeff Banning founded Banning Engineering in 1994 with the vision to create an organization that would represent his values, character, and passion.
Over the last 25 years, Banning Engineering has evolved and grown into an organization of skilled individuals who have a similar vision and dedication. This dedication enables the firm to excel at a wide variety of projects including but not limited to: site development, stormwater resources, survey, water & sanitary sewer, economic development, construction services, recreation & quality of life, and transportation.

Banning Engineering’s reputation has been built upon the integrity of our staff and our proven history of managing, completing, and delivering projects within budget and on time. Jeff’s team is equipped to consult and lead projects with experience, knowledge, and understanding. Our management team members bring with them on average over 30 years of experience and the average tenure of our engineers on staff is over 10 years.

We at Banning Engineering are proud to announce that we have made another step in that direction. As of June 1st, Banning Engineering became a 100% ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company. We are excited to make this change to ensure we remain a local business, committed to our clients and providing additional value to our employees. Jeff will remain CEO, and our organizational structure will remain unchanged.
